1. About the Service
MyEnergyType (the "Service") provides a free 12-type personality temperament test based on the four-temperament theory, plus an optional paid in-depth PDF report. The Service is operated by FLOWLAB (the "Company"). These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and the Company.
The Service is available without registration. Paid content is delivered via a download link sent to the email address you provide at checkout.
2. Payment and Refund
Payments for the paid report are processed by Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Inc., "Paddle"), our global payments provider. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles invoicing, VAT/sales tax, and refunds directly.
The legal seller for paid transactions is Paddle.com. The Company acts as the digital content provider, responsible for service operations and content delivery.
The paid report is digital content delivered immediately upon payment. After download or access, refund eligibility may be limited. Specific refund rules are set out in our separate Refund Policy.
3. Intellectual Property
Test items, the 12-type taxonomy, report content, and imagery within the Service are owned by the Company. Your individual test results (your type, report) are yours to use freely, but the underlying content may not be redistributed or used commercially without permission.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not engage in the following:
• Disrupting normal operation of the Service
• Unauthorized access via automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or resale of content
• Misuse of another person's payment information or email
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without prior notice. The Company reserves the right to seek legal remedies for damages.
5. Disclaimer — Self-Understanding Tool
The Service is a tool for self-understanding and does not provide medical, clinical, or psychological diagnosis. Test results are not absolute or deterministic. Do not make significant life decisions (mental health, career, relationships) based solely on results from the Service.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not responsible for service interruptions or delays caused by force majeure, network outages, or third-party payment provider issues. The Company's total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service.
7. Changes to Terms
The Company may update these Terms as needed. Updates will be posted on the website. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be brought before the competent court at the Company's domicile in the first instance.
